☀️ GIVEAWAY: Let’s Build a “Forever Garden” Before the Real Heat Hits! 🌴

Listen, we all know the Florida summer is no joke. If you don’t get your beds set up right, July will turn your backyard into a botanical crisp.

We’re looking for one local yard to host a “Forever Garden” Build-Out before the end of the month! We want to prove that with the right setup, you can grow year-round—even when it’s 95°F with 100% humidity.

🎣 The Catch (The Good Kind)

We’re providing the design, the muscle, and the expertise for FREE. In return, we just need your permission to film the build for our socials. Think of it as a DIY show, but you’re the star (and you get a killer garden out of it).

Quick Heads-Up: While our labor and planning are on us, the winner covers the cost of the actual materials (wood, soil, irrigation, etc.). We’ll give you a “Budget vs. Dream” list so you can pick what works for your wallet!

🔥 Our “Sunshine State” Secret Sauce

To make this garden survive the Florida furnace, we’re focusing on:

  • Self-Watering Setups: Because nobody wants to stand outside with a hose at 2:00 PM.
  • Heat-Loving Crops: Think Everglades tomatoes, peppers, and tropical greens that actually like the humidity.
  • Serious Mulching: To keep those roots from “cooking” in the soil.
  • UV-Tough Materials: No cheap plastic here—we’re building to last.

🍍 Florida Summer “All-Stars” (Pick Your Fave!)

If you win, we’re sticking to the plants that actually vibe with our humidity. Tell us which ones you want in your beds:

  • Everglades Tomatoes: These tiny flavor bombs are the only tomatoes that don’t give up when it hits $90^{\circ}\text{F}$.
  • Seminole Pumpkin: A Florida native. It’ll climb your fence and give you “pumpkins” that taste like butternut squash.
  • Okra: Basically the king of the Florida summer. It loves the heat more than we do.
  • Sweet Potatoes: They double as a beautiful groundcover while the tubers grow secretly underground.
  • Thai Basil & Rosemary: Herbs that can actually handle a tropical afternoon downpour.
  • Tropical Spinach (Longevity or Okinawa): Forget the wimpy bagged stuff; these greens thrive in the humidity.

🌴 How to Enter:

  1. Follow the crew @tidyfixers.
  2. Drop a comment with what you’re dreaming of growing (Pineapples? Peppers? Sunflowers?).
  3. Tag a neighbor who’s tired of their lawn looking like a sandlot.

Winner picked on Sunday, March 15th! Must be in the Clearwater/Pinellas area and ready to get their hands a little dirty before the month is up. Booking dates available are March 22nd or 29th 🥭
